It is a polar aprotic solvent with sweet taste and appears as colorless at ambient conditions. It is a very flammable liquid having high miscibility with other organic compounds. Although lab grade chemicals have a reasonable purity they do not meet any recognized quality or purity standards such as the acs grade usp grade or fcc grade. In terms of heavy metals our lab grade chemicals have high purity.
