The candy 11 also features crank brothers new traction pad technology to achieve the optimal interface between pedal and shoe. On each side of the pedal are polyurethane pads with a diamond plate traction pattern directly integrated into the body. These pads not only optimize cleat engagement but also optimize the shoe tread contact with the pedal body.
