We highly recommend that you surge the battery pack twice to get the blanket warmer faster do this by turning off the battery pack after the initial 5-minute surge then back on again for a 2nd 5-minute surge. Make sure you wrap up securely inside the blanket like a burrito it’s all about trapping the heat inside the kodiak. When surging the battery twice you’ll get at least 1.5 Hours of constant heat for that specific charge. Non-surge heating: once the surge battery pack needs to be recharged use the 2nd non-surge battery pack for an additional 2 hours of continual heat. This battery pack starts on high for the first hour then drops to medium thereafter. You can change the heat setting to any temp you’d like at any time.
