Veil is reminiscent of looking out a window towards the showering green that welcomes the gardeninto spring. Individual stitches made over the course of several weeks culminate into a mass of vibratingcolor, evocative of fresh spring grass. This time and labor-intensive process reflects both the experience of grief and the acceptance of its unending, ever-evolving, and cyclical nature.
