In my experience, norbey produces some of the more unique varietals such as sidra, papayo, and now this caturron this is my first time tasting caturron and it to me behaves like a well processed caturra with lots of subtleties one may find in clean ethiopian landrace coffees. I find very vibrant and crisp acidity that reminds me of biting into an almost strawberry with a sweet and clean honeydew finish that reminds me of a good washed ethiopian. The recipe for this coffee is 1:18 and its an adapted version of a recipe apollons gold uses in their shop you get a very transparent and balanced brew that allows the acidity and sweetness to be harmonious.
