Blackboxmeats Beef Prime Sirloin Steak - 12oz

Available size: 12oz steak, fresh the sirloin is located in an area, behind the ribs and before the rump, on a cow that gets more exercise. Therefore, beef from the sirloin subprimal will have less marbling and a firmer texture than a non-weight bearing muscle. Sirloin cuts are often the leaner parts of a steak and contain high protein. Although they taste delicious, cuts of sirloin aren't quite as robust in flavor as a ribeye because of their lower fat content. Sirloin steak is flavorful but potentially chewy because they are leaner. It can either be cooked low and slow or hot and fast to prevent toughness. The sirloin flap has a rich beefy flavor with a fair amount of marbling that's similar to a flank steak. Our fresh, grain-finished prime beef sirloin steak is hand cut and trimmed then wet aged to ensure your dining pleasure.
